Sima Amid Wewetzer originates from Tehran, Iran, where she studied art at the University of Art and Design before moving to the United States in 1978. She has been working on the use of modern painting techniques ever since. She paints mostly in oils and acrylic, depicting abstract landscapes in a free form style that incorporates a blend of color and strokes. Painting brings her relaxation and a great sense of happiness and joy, and has won her several awards and many art exhibitions.
